Playing at Tinseltown Theatres March 1st

The 24,000 km Trans Canada Trail stretches across the continent of North America, connecting the Atlantic, Arctic and Pacific oceans. It is the longest trail in the world. “500 Days In The Wild” follows filmmaker Dianne Whelan’s 6-year journey as she travels the entirety of the land and water trails, becoming the first person ever to do so.

This feature doc culled from 800 hours of footage is an intricate weave of adventure film, personal reflection and stunning captures of wildlife and landscapes.

500 Days in the Wild, distributed by Elevations Pictures, opens in theatres across Canada starting March 1 at Vancouver’s Cineplex Odeon in Tinseltown.

This film will also screen at VIFMM (Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival) on February 29th.
